Real life garagistes, that’s us. We’ve been making wine since the early ‘70s. Back then our ‘facility’ was our garage in Southern California - handcrafted wines in the purest sense.
In 1979, we purchased a ranch just south of St. Helena, Napa Valley and began growing grapes and making wine for real. We built Whitehall Lane Winery, made some pretty great wines there, and sold it several years later. Before long we were crafting small lots of ultra-premium Napa Valley wine from our estate vineyard under the JUDD’S HILL label.
In 1992, we pioneered MicroCrush to give grape growers and wine enthusiasts the chance to make their own custom handcrafted wine. Today, our facility is state-of-the-art, but the garagiste spirit is alive and well. Come see for yourself.
